comprehensive extrusion program, your demanding
processes must be complemented with an appropriate
drying solution.
Lessons learned
All too often during the conceptual stage of process
design, too much of the design focuses on the PC/
extruder, while the drying solution is considered a
“necessary evil” and not an integral component of
a successful solution. Unfortunately, this dismissal
frequently results in an expensive lesson that is
learned late in the game.
